The ranking system in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu means to signify the level of technical knowledge and their skill in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It consists of 8 ranking levels starts with white belt, blue belt, purple belt, brown belt, black belt, and after reaching the 7th degree of the person is awarded with an alternating red and black belt. It is a tough decision to rank the student, as it equally tough for them to reach on those levels it requires immense hard work and training.
Competition generally encourages the students to complete and gain experience. With this competition, it helps the instructors to gauge the student’s ability in various forms and techniques of Brazillian jiu jitsu and helps them decide their level of expertise.
